Was Higuain's goal really supposed to be disallowed?

if you watch closely you can clearly see that Mascherano had taken another 2 or 3 steps in his run after ronaldo had "supposedly" fell on his ankle. i don't think ronaldo touched him. i just think it was very close. Mascherano diving yet again.
