My suggestion is to use www.ancestry.com. You do have to pay for their services, but the fee is great for the value of knowledge you are receiving. Plus, you can cancel the subscription at any time without having to pay a cancellation fee. Another feature on ancestry is that you are allowed to hire an actual genealogist to help you with your research. That could be an option. :) Hope I helped and I wish you success.
